USA wins America’s Cup

It’s possibly the greatest comeback in sporting history. Oracle Team USA has taken the America’s Cup series 9-8, coming back from 8-1 down to New Zealand. Oracle’s skipper, Jimmy Spithill, said he took inspiration from Australia’s famous victory 30 years ago. ABC News has the full story.

Victims vetted before being killed

Al-Shabab, the militant group behind the Nairobi mall shooting, says they vetted foreigners before killing them. The victims included Tasmanian architect Ross Langdon. According to the extremist group, foreigners were a legitimate target. Read more.

Footage released of Navy Yard shooter
