The lucky members of the Probus Club of Ashburton were given a very special treat at the June General Meeting with the appearance of none other than radio star, Philip Brady as guest speaker.
Philip entertained us with the history and highlights of his career in radio and television, including recalling interviews with Bing Crosby and Sophia Loren and generally giving us a great insight into his lifelong love of radio. It seems Philip has achieved his life’s ambition and is still presenting a daily radio segment on 3AW.
