NZ on show
This July and August, Grand Pacific Tours (GPT) is putting on the NZ On Show Expo a travelling roadshow that has all you need to know about a trip to our near neighbours. Talk to the New Zealand experts plus 25 top NZ tourism operators as they showcase the journey, the sights and the experiences you’ll enjoy on a coach holiday.
When travelling New Zealand by coach, every day is different and more exciting than the last. Sit back and relax knowing the hassle of overlooking hidden locations or taking a wrong turn is removed.
Experience it for yourself at this unique event, hosted by multi-talented TV travel personality, Scott McRae, who is known for Destinations with Scott McRae, Postcards Australia and A Taste of Travel.
Take advantage of the deal of the year and FLY FREE to New Zealand, plus many more exclusive offers only available on the day. You could also WIN a 9 Day South Island Tour for two valued at over $6900!
The NZ On Show Expo starts in Brisbane on July 29, then travels the whole east coast down to Melbourne on August 3. For a full list of dates, see Grand Pacific Tours website.
Stay on your feet
In the next issue of Active Retirees we look at how tai chi and other balance-related exercise can be beneficial for seniors. If you want some first hand experience, this July sees Perth put on some special classes by a Qualified Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention Instructor. It is an evidence-based program which works to prevent falls through improving balance, confidence and muscular strength in older adults.
For more information visit Stay On Your Feet, and sign up for a class.
