Life membership

At the August Meeting of the Probus Club of Taree, two Members, Bob Berry and Ern Death, were granted Life Membership.
Bob Berry was president of the Rotary Club of Taree, and was instrumental in requesting Ern Death, a member of the same Rotary club, to organise and instigate a Probus club in the Taree area in 1982.
It was because of the work and foresight of these two members, that the Probus Club of Taree was founded, and the initial meeting of members was held during April 1982.
