Calls to keep non-violent Indigenous criminals out of jail

Malala in recovery

Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl shot in the head by the Taliban for campaigning for girls’ education, is recovering from surgery on her skull. Cops taser man outside Buckingham Palace

Scotland Yard say they used a stun gun on a man armed with two knives outside Buckingham Palace. The man did not threaten people but when approached by police, he acted aggressively. He was arrested at the scene. Ninemsn has the full story.
