Mystery tour
25 Mar 2014
Albury Hume Probus members enjoyed a great mystery trip recently, boarding the bus in Albury without knowing where they would end up.
From Albury, the bus took members through Baranduda and then to Tangambalanga, where they enjoyed a wonderful Devonshire Morning Tea. Knowing the scones were home-cooked trumped knowing they were no good for the waistlines!
Back on the bus, it was time for a very enjoyable trip around Lake Hume, through Tallangatta and across the water where Old Tallangatta had been flooded for the Dam years ago.
After taking in the lovely green hills and a full Lake Hume, it was time to move on to the Bethanga Hotel where all enjoyed a delicious lunch, then through the hills to the lower arm of the Hume Weir.
The Wymah Ferry shuttled the group to the caravan park for a drink and time to drink in the beautiful views. Back on the bus, the group toured Bellbridge to see Lauren Jackson's new home and returned to Albury after a great day full of fun and friendship.
