Morisset Probus Clubs celebrate 40th Probus Anniversary

In 1976 the first Probus Club in Australia was established at Hunters Hill and so this year marks the 40th Anniversary of Probus in Australia.
Australian Probus is a part of Probus South Pacific Limited, which has now grown to over 1700 clubs and 130,000 members. Probus is an association of active members in communities who are predominantly lively retirees. Members share intellectual and cultural interests and participate in social and active lifestyle programmes. Probus is an opportunity for people to share great friendships and enjoy fellowship with others within their local community.
On 22nd July, the Morisset Ladies and Morisset Men’s Probus Clubs, joined forces to celebrate the 40th. Anniversary of this great organization.
The occasion was a great success where members and guests were treated to a lunch followed by a cabaret featuring the outstanding talents of multi award winner, Michael Montgomery.
Special guests were Mr. Ray Davies Rotary District Probus Chairman and Kerry Morrissey representing Morisset Rotary.
