Election at Warracknabeal

The ladies Probus Club of Warracknabeal elected three new officers to lead them in 2013-2014.

They are President, Avril Hein, Secretary, Marj McGinniss and Treasurer, Wendy Lovel.  

The election for office-bearers was led by Warracknabeal Rotary Club President, John Hadley.

The annual meeting was followed by the general meeting and a barbecue lunch, professionally cooked and served by members of the Rotary Club.

Earlier this year, members were entertained by former Warracknabeal Secondary College student and Yarriambiack Shire Youth of the Year, joint winner, Mikaela Woods, who spoke of her life from early childhood to today and her ambitions for her future goals.

Attending Ballarat University, Mikaela is studying for a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science. She has had many interesting experiences during her past 18 years. She was joint winner of he Youth of the Year award with fellow class mate and friend, Mikalya George.
