Moogerah luncheon
17 Apr 2013
Members of the Beaudesert and Rose City Warwick Probus Clubs met at Moogerah on 13th February for a luncheon.
This was an initiative of the RDPC 9640 Douglas Geekie.
Although the members of the clubs had not met one another before, within ten minutes, the discussion and laughter made one think that they had been friends for years.
The weather was a pleasant 24 degrees with the odd shower.
Adequate shed cover was available with plenty of seating. The picnic area and facilities at Moogerah were a sight to behold with lush green lawns and trees providing shade overlooking the waters of the lake.
To add to the relaxed atmosphere was the sound of the water running over the spillway.
Over 20 members from each club attended and it was truly an event that upheld the three key principles of Probus, fun, fellowship and friendship.
