A cruisy holiday
22 Aug 2017
Thirty-two members of the Port Victor Combined Probus Club enjoyed a sunny cruise down the Murray River in the Proud Mary. Their trip took them from the Murray Bridge to Blanchetown and back over the course of a few days.
The group enjoyed the food and the views, with a few members lucky enough to spot some hairy-nosed wombats on a fauna-finding excursion.
Members were told stories of the history and ecology of the Murray, and experienced regular night entertainment and a small boat excursion to the secluded lagoons in the area.
All enjoyed the trip, with members relishing the opportunity to cement old friendships and form new ones too.
