Adelaide North Combined Probus Club had a fantastic morning in Port Adelaide, starting at the Maritime Museum.

Their tour guide was so full of the history of Port Adelaide Shipping over the past 100 years. An absolute must for anyone visiting Adelaide.

A real eye-opener, the museum has a “full size” coastal ship inside, as well as artifacts from ships of a bygone era.

After the tour they had lunch at the Lighthouse Hotel just around the corner from the museum. The selection of meals was so good – fantastic value, served with a smile.

Port Adelaide is Defiantly a great place to visit if you’re going to Adelaide. Everyone enjoyed their day out and said they would return to the hotel again.
