The Ladies Probus Club of Majura holds its meeting on the first Tuesday of the month which falls on Melbourne Cup Day each year.
Never ones to say ‘no’ to a celebratory lunch, the club holds a Melbourne Cup feed every year. This year, the club hosted a hat parade, with winners across several categories, and held trivia between lunch and the Cup.
Also, late in 2012, members of the Ladies Probus Club of Majura enjoyed a cruise and morning tea on Lake Burley Griffin, landing at Government House for an hour-long guided tour of its gardens.
