Port Stephens' nonagenarian
28 Mar 2014
The Probus Club of Port Stephens recently celebrated the 90th birthday of its inaugural secretary Tony Pett.
John Goldsworthy, President of The Probus Club of Port Stephens, presented foundation member Tony Pett with a Nonagenarian Certificate to honour his 90th birthday.
Tony was the inaugural Secretary when the Club was established in 1983. Since then, he has been President, taught members how to perform CPR and run the club’s Flora Park. He was also the club's historian and photographer for many years, faithfully recording progress and activities with the support of his wife Pam.
Tony holds life membership due to his much valued contribution to the club’s welfare and development.
