Train trip for Victorian Probians
14 Nov 2013
A few months ago, Anderson Inlet Probus combined with Inverloch Probus to form a group of 50 train travellers who spent a pleasant day riding the rails of the South Gippsland Tourist Railway.
After leaving Korumburra railway station members and guests journeyed to Loch where a stop allowed everyone to explore the various interesting shops, gardens and the suspension bridge over Allsop Creek before partaking lunch at one of the cafes in the town.
The train then proceeded to Nyora where everyone visited the local store as some of the travellers needed a calorie refill before the return trip to Korumburra.
Members who travelled on this rail outing in an unseasonal sunny winters day all voted the trip a credit to Inverloch Probus who organised trip.
