A JOINT CELEBRATION

On 23 July members of the East Canberra Probus Club joined with the Deakin Combined Probus Club to celebrate Christmas in July and the East Canberra Club’s 30th Birthday. Members of both Clubs shared a delicious festive meal at the Canberra Deakin Football Club and tables pooled their knowledge in response to a challenging Trivia Quiz. Joy Byron, a Life Member of the Deakin Combined Club and Allan James.Secretary of the East Canberra Club cut a celebratory birthday cake.
Members of both clubs agreed that this function, involving two clubs, had been a very enjoyable and successful venture and a concept well worth repeating in the future.
