Federal Police have swarmed Channel Seven’s Sydney offices over allegations the network paid to interview convicted criminal Schapelle Corby. Police seized contracts and other paperwork, under powers that ban convicted criminals from profiting from their crimes. Watch the video on Ten News.

Stabbed doctor in critical condition

A respected Melbourne neurosurgeon is in critical condition after being stabbed in the foyer of the hospital where he works. Dr Michael Wong suffered serious stab wounds and has since undergone six hours of surgery. Read more.

Dozens dead in Ukraine protests

More than 14 people have died in Kiev, Ukraine as a result of anti-government demonstrations. The protests erupted 12 weeks ago with protestors attempting to push towards parliament and Viktor Yanukovych's headquarters. Seven civilians and six policemen have been confirmed dead. US Olympian driven to tears in television interview

NBC reporter Christin Cooper has driven US Olympic skier Bode Miller to tears in a post-race interview. The interview was supposed to focus on Miller’s bronze medal but instead focussed on the death of Miller’s younger brother. Miller is the oldest athlete to win an Olympic alpine medal. Read more.

Scuba diver’s body found in Bali

The body of a Japanese diver has been found washed up in Bali, just one day after tourists discovered five other divers clinging to a coral reef. The diver was almost unrecognisable after days in the water. News.com.au has more.

DNA tests on Mona Lisa

Italian art detectives suspect they have found the skeleton of the real Mona Lisa. DNA tests are currently underway to see if the bones found belong to Florentine woman Lisa Gherardini. The bones were discovered in a tomb at a convent near Florence. Read more.
