Probians down the fairway

Every Tuesday, come rain or shine, a group of Inverloch and Wonthaggi Probians meet at the Wonthaggi Golf Club to enjoy a full round of golf.

It is believed that it was Mark Twain who said, “Golf is the ruination of a good walk”, but that does not dampen the enthusiasm of this group. They have monthly trophies and a unique handicap system that pretty much defies logic. It has been known for certain members to use a walking stick for balance when putting. Their aim is to enjoy a game of golf in pleasant company and a pleasant atmosphere.
