Pat Cowling, the President of the Burleigh Heads Ladies Probus Club, pictured third from right, together with other club members, was fascinated by the beauty of the Summerland Camel Farm at Harrisville.
It is Australia's largest Camel Dairy, an 850-acre property within a majestic mountain backdrop and just 45 minutes from Brisbane. An interesting speaker explained in an engaging way, the history, farming practices, animal care and the incredible health benefit of camel milk.
