Touring in Tassie

On March 14, the Dingley Central Probus Club left on a six-day tour of Tasmania staying four nights at the Aspect Tamar Valley Resort, Grindelward and one night at the Stanley Seaview Inn. The holiday included visits to the beautiful Woolmers Estate and National Rose Garden and lunch was served in the Kitchen Café overlooking the gardens. In the afternoon a 50-minute cruise was enjoyed on the Cataract Gorge.
Next day a visit was made to the Platypus House where the Tasmanian Platypus and Echidna were observed in an indoor setting and Seahorse World offered a rare chance to see seahorses in captivity.
