Blackburn South Ladies Probus Club celebrated 25 years on 19th August – a silver theme marked the occasion.
Fifteen original members were presented with Foundation Membership Certificates by Forest Hill Rotarian Stan Harper, who is the founder of the club. Certificates of appreciation were presented to Helen Gruber and Phyllis Ward in recognition of their service to the club.
Special guests included P.A.V. Secretary, Graham Musgrave and his wife Pauline. Anna Laird also attended, representing local member of Parliament, Neil Angus.
The club's original President Claire Wilkinson, together with the current President, Margaret Clarke, cut the cake, which was followed by a light lunch.
