Celebrating 25 Years

Ninety-six ladies from the Drysdale Ladies Probus Club celebrated their 25th birthday at their March Meeting. President, Lilian Cass, extended a special welcome to Dawn Baudinette , the rotary District Probus Chair.
Dawn gave a talk on her life in Probus and presented 25 year pins to the foundation members and a certificate to the Club to mark the occasion. Marguerite Edgar, the first President of the Club, told of the formation of the Club and how it has grown over the years . Lilian asked the past Presidents of the Club to stand and be acknowledged. Ladies who have served on the committee over the years were also acknowledged.
Marguerite Edgar cut the birthday cake, a beautiful chocolate mud cake made by member, Kath Gunn.
At the conclusion of a most enjoyable meeting many of the members stayed to share a delicious luncheon consisting of a birthday lunch box, birthday cake, tea, coffee and slices.
