A speaker well worth hearing

The Probus Club of Stuart Alice Springs was pleased to welcome Jason Harpley, audiometrist from Audika, Fannie Bay, to speak on “hearing health for seniors”.

Jason provided an informal talk on the importance of monitoring hearing and seeking assistance when issues arise. Jason spoke on tinnitus and industrial hearing loss, which we may face over time as we work and play. He made a point of encouraging members’ children and grandchildren to ensure that they look after their hearing at work.

The talk was enjoyed by those at the meeting and the President was pleased to present Jason with a Certificate of Appreciation from Club members.
