Reaching a decade

Representatives from neighbouring Probus clubs helped the Murtoa Combined Probus Club celebrate its tenth birthday.
Ray and Leora Duffield were also in attendance representing Rotary and Don Mitchell from Horsham East Rotary, the club’s sponsor.
President Anne Bates welcomed everyone, particularly past members Joan Aumann, Alex Hamilton, John and Nancy Davies and Dorothy and Kevin Warner who had returned for the day.
On behalf of Probus District Committee and South Pacific, Ray presented Anne with a certificate of congratulations.
Entertainment was provided by Don Mitchell who recited Australian poetry, and Anne Scully and Lyn McKenzie who led a sing-a-long.
