Banora Point Christmas in July
12 Nov 2013
Banora Point Probus recently enjoyed a bus trip to the Rosevale Retreat Hotel which is situated in the middle of nowhere in the Brisbane Valley.
The hotel is said to be built originally in 1852 as a homestead and is now considered the oldest hotel in Queensland.
The hotel hosts Christmas in July dinners, and what a magnificent dinner members enjoyed. The hotel is booked up most other days of the year. The hotel featured in Charles Chauvel's first feature movie.
Along with dinner, members enjoyed beautiful scenery with a backdrop of mountains of the Scenic Rim.
Here's to Christmas being just as enjoyable!
