Probus Club of Shepparton’s 30th Anniversary meeting

On the 14th of November, 2017 the Probus Club of Shepparton celebrated their 30th Anniversary with a special meeting, held at The Africa House in Shepparton.
President Barbara Trudgen welcomed all Guests and Members and invited a representative from South Shepparton Rotary (the sponsoring club) to address the meeting.
Foundation and Active member Laurie Kemp were presented with a 30-year pin.
As a follow up on their Certificates, Life Member Pins were presented to Brian Emmett, John Dempster, John Pleming, Maurice Rowlands, Apologies were received from Gavin O’Dwyer and Ted Bartlett.
The meeting was then closed, and Foundation Members Laurie Kemp & Cec Pearson cut the 30th Anniversary Cake followed by a delicious morning tea and conversation.
A special Book published for the 30th celebration giving ‘A brief History of Probus and its Activities “The last 10 years 2008-2017” of the Probus Club of Shepparton’, was on sale with a complementary 30th Anniversary Pen.
An enjoyable celebration and catch up was had by everyone.
