To market to market
13 Jun 2013
In April, the Redcliffe City Mixed Probus Club made and early morning coach start to the renowned market town of Eumundi in the Noosa Hinterland. A large number of members make this journey quite regularly.
South East Queensland residents and holiday tourists enjoy the unique experience of this beautiful heritage town.
The vibrant market area, with hundreds of stalls, has something for everyone. Fresh produce, art and craft, clothing and food. With buskers, musicians, camel rides, face painting and magicians – it is all here.
Eumundi’s emblem is the fig tree. This was the meeting place before joining the coach again for the bonus journey to beautiful Noosa.
During a two hour stay in Noosa and after a drink and a browse, most of the group took refuge in the Noosa Surf Club. Here members enjoyed a great meal and the famous Noosa beach and surf scenery from the deck.
What a great day.
