Anniversary Dinner at Noble Park Footy Club

Sandown had their anniversary dinner at Noble Park footy club last night and it was an excellent night.
The president welcome all members and guests an d grace was said by a past president. Before the entree was served our MC Peter Shepherd gave us an amusing speech whilst telling us also about the history of probus from its beginnings.this went down well with members and guests.
Entree was either satay chicken or salt and peeper squid. between this and mains two of our ladies told us about the formation of the sandown branch of probus.they told about their successes and failures and how it has become the wonderful club it is today.
Our members are all committed to make it so and take part fully in all that we try to do mains were either stuffed chicken breast or backstrap of lamb. Then we cut the beautiful cake made by our treasurer Marg Sharpe.that was sliced up whilst we had desert.
The meal was all very nice with lots of flavour.the president closed the meetin by thanking all those in the organising of the occasion and making it so successful.
