Happy 20th birthday to the Jamestown Probus Club! Derek, the club’s first Vice President and Dulcie, the first Tour Director, were special guests of the celebrations earlier in the year.
Dulcie was given the honour of cutting the birthday cake. The cake, beautifully made by Val Campbell and Maureen Growden, had a Probus logo on top.
Many of the inaugural members attended and 18 were presented with certificates. Neata Lawrie and John Toholke were surprised and delighted to be presented with life membership certificates by President Robert Bruce, both of which were well-earned.
