A day at the races

Thirty stylish members of the Probus Club of Darwin put on their best hats and donned their best outfits to attend the Adelaide River Races recently.

The members caught the bus from Darwin to the Adelaide River Races, over 100kms down the track. Socialising started as soon as the group boarded.

The atmosphere and company of all who attended was great. The venue was fun, the races exciting and the outfits - wow! Lunch was delicious. All the gentlemen enjoyed watching the fillies. The weather was perfect as was the champagne.

And finally we didn’t break the bookies (some of the horses are still running), and most of us came home broke but happy. Lots of fun, fellowship and friendship was had by all and the memories will last.
