Port Macquarie Combined Congratulates Member Geoff
The Club congratulates member Geoff Bond who was voted 2019 Senior Volunteer of the Year for his outstanding work helping farmers in need through the Frontier Services program called Outback Links. The award was presented in Port Macquarie on August 20. This is the second such award for Geoff, who in 2014, was named Mid North Coast Volunteer of the Year.
Geoff travels to outback parts of Australia, offering help with building, fencing and gardening to name a few.
Geoff has travelled to three properties this year alone but has completed 30 placements across the country since beginning his service with Outback Links.
