The Gardening group met on the 11 March, our guest speaker was Hannah Zwartz the KCDC’s ‘green gardener’. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunny afternoon, there were plenty of questions, especially as most of us have very, if not, all sandy soil, Hannah gave us plenty of ideas how to make the soil in our gardens fertile and keep moist over the summer months.
