Prestons Probus Club celebrate their 1st AGM
05 Apr 2016
The Prestons Probus Club was formed at the end of November, 2015. The club meet at Mounties and recently celebrated with lunch following their first annual general meeting. Why not says President Keith Weber, this is a great venue and lunch is only $8.00 which makes our members happy.
Our club is looking for new members who are active retirees, singles and couples to join us every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10.00am. We have guest speakers each meeting, lots of fun and friendship. We also have a Coffee Club every 1st Wednesday and an outing together every 4th Wednesday.
We organise low cost outings like a visit to a local museum, a train and ferry trip for fish and chips on Manly beach and a day and lunch at Warwick Farm Races are arranged.
We are a young club sharing friendship and fellowship. Don't be fooled by the name Prestons for that's where we started but have since moved to Mounties and have the use as members of all their wonderful meeting facilities and activities. This places us much more centrally to the greater Liverpool region so we can service the needs of people from Moorebank to Bonnyrigg, Mt Pritchard and Green Valley.
We have room for all seniors and active retirees. Contact Nolene Weber Phone 9771 6130.
