100 not out for Fred

The Probus Club of Port Stephens is back on deck for 2017 with a very special meeting. Longtime member and a past President, Fred Burton, turned 100 years old and his fellow Probus friends helped him celebrate with a big blue cake.
Fred, who is still a regular attendee at meetings, was also presented with the Bradman Award (100 not out) by President Ron Gibson. Fred was accompanied by his daughter Jenny and they enjoyed the fellowship of members at the extended morning tea and then joined the group for lunch at Nelson Bay Bowling Club.
Fred proudly showed off the congratulatory letters he has received from everyone including the Queen.
