Members enjoying a trip on the Sea World Cruise Ship

The Burleigh Heads Ladies Probus Club recently enjoyed a trip on the Sea World Cruise Ship, cruising along the Broadwater, passing Stradbroke Island and then up the Coomera River to Sanctuary Cove.
A Bus was waiting there to continue the adventure to the Gold Coast & Hinterland Historical Museum at Surfers Paradise. There amongst other treasured exhibitions was a display of the Paula Stafford Emporium.
Paula Stafford introduced the Bikini to the Gold Coast beaches in the 1950's. This memory was a fitting conclusion to a very happy and wonderful day of water and sunshine.
