Great balls of fire

The Probus Club of Darwin got up close and personal with the brave firefighters at the Mararra and Darwin fire stations recently and had the opportunity to find out what goes on behind the scenes.
The crews at each of the stations gave fascinating presentations about their operational duties, training and activities that they are involved in during the year. The members were also shown the equipment and vehicles used and saw a training group in action, which was using foam to extinguish an artificial fire.
