A new presidency

Members of the Port Stephens Probus Club celebrated in style at their recent changeover lunch, held at Soldiers Point Bowling Club on March 9. The club is celebrating its 34th anniversary.
Another milestone was reached at the meeting, as female member Ann Gibson was elected President. She follows close on the heels of her husband Ron, the outgoing President.
Two members are leaving the committee this year: George Hammond, who served for 10 consecutive years, and Leon Lindsay, who served on and off for 20 years. George and Leon’s commitment has been very much appreciated by all who know of their contribution. Carol Townsend was also presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for her contribution to all things social.
