East Malvern Combined Probus Club visit to Bright

On Monday the 11th of April was the beginning of our trip to Bright staying at the Bright Chalet, 40 members of our club met in the carpark of the East Malvern RSL and were loaded on to the Bright Chalet own bus.
We were then off on our 5 day 4 night trip. On the way to Bright we stopped for lunch at the Euroa Bakery, top notch they even put out witches hats for our bust to pull right outside. After a great meal at the Chalet it was an early night to bed.
From the next morning and every day after our bus took us to many amazing places like the Pumpkin Seed Farm, Mt Beauty, Falls Creek Ski Resort, Harrietville, Buckland Valley and many other places. One of the highlights was a visit to Bonegilla for a tour of the old Migrant Huts, 3 of our members had spent a part of their childhood at Bonegilla so it was very moving for them. Each night our club put on entertainment, A short pantomime of Cinderella, so much fun, this was followed by a sing along.
The next night we had Pick A Box Quiz with lots of prizes. Then to top the week off our Host Michael of the Bright Chalet and 5 members of his family, gave us a big brass band music concert.
Friday the Bright Chalet bus returned us to home via the Euroa Bakery for lunch. It was an excellent week away. The trip included the bus, hot cooked breakfast, a 3 course dinner and accommodation at a very reasonable price.
