Probus Club of Tea Tree Gully walking group

The Probus Club of Tea Tree Gully enjoyed a perfect day for their Trail Blazers walk on September 19th. Nine members took the opportunity to set out and enjoy a walk to the Wynn Vale Dam after meeting at the Jubilee Community Centre, Wynn Vale, at 10:00 am.
With no rain in sight this time, they follow the creek and crossing the bridges to enjoy the magnificent gums, blooming wattles, lush green undergrowth, and abundant bird life along the way.
The galahs and colourful parrots caught our attention, as did the ducks, which enjoyed the lettuce leaves brought along by members.
It was a hidden treasure of gorgeous nature and a man-made dam, where one of our members found and chattered to a keen fisherman. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for an hour covering 4.5 km. before heading off to enjoy coffee and a snack at the Golden Grove Tavern.
