Fraser Coast-Hervey Bay Combined Probus Club travel to Bamboo Land

Fraser Coast-Hervey Bay Combined Probus Club travelled to Bamboo Land for their first Wine Down for 2019.

Bamboo Land is situated on the highway between Maryborough and Childers.  It is set on ten acres adjoining the Burrum River. It is a beautiful tropical garden with walkways through the whole site. There are many varieties of bamboo, including Ghost, China Gold and Black. Among the plants featured are coloured Heliconias, Red Cigar Ginger and Foxtail Palms to name but a few.

A wonderful picnic lunch was then served. Thanks go to Glenda and Max Jorgensen for the organisation, but others members also contributed to make it a wonderful day.
