Life membership awarded

Bruce Campbell OAM and his wife Sheila have been honoured with life membership at the Wonthaggi & District Combined Probus Club.

A past president of the sponsoring Rotary Club of Wonthaggi, Bruce was instrumental in the formation of the club in 1996. He and Sheila are foundation members. Bruce was inaugural Vice President and President in 1998-1999. Sheila has been a member of the Committee of Management on a number of occasions and serves on the current committee. Over many years they have provided exceptional guest speakers for club meetings.

President Stan Clarkson thanked the couple for their enthusiasm and dedication, and presented them with Life Membership badges and certificates. Life Member Jess Macaulay presented Sheila with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Certificates of Appreciation were also presented to retiring Committee and Sub-committee Members. With the club offering such a wide variety of activities, this was an impressive list. Stan expressed sincere gratitude for the sterling efforts of these hard-working members.
