Talent on show

The Probus Club of Granite Island recently held a Member’s Showcase, where a vast range of talents were displayed in 14 different categories, some being woodwork, quilting, embroidery, sewing, cooking, fine arts , photography, bonsai and book publishing.
Fifty-eight members attended on the day with over 150 entries on show.
As well as being treated to a delicious afternoon tea, and displays of flower arranging and Lego construction, members were encouraged to vote on their favourite item, which was won by Deidre for her cross-stitch work of Ann Hathaway’s Cottage.
