Kurranulla Probus Club celebrates 25th anniversary

One of Sutherland Shires most popular Probus Clubs, “Kurranulla” celebrated its 25^th Anniversary on the 7^th September 2017.

Accredation of the Probus Club of Kurranulla was received and accepted from Port Hacking Rotary Club on the 11^th August 1992. The Clubs first official meeting was held at Cronulla Bowling Club on 7^th September 1992 with 44 members, with 9 Foundation Members still members today.

Probus Club of Kurranulla was the first mixed gender club in the Sutherland Shire.

The 25^th Anniversary Luncheon was held at Doltone House Sylvania with over 60 members attending, with David Hartman (Tours and Outing) as MC.

17 past Presidents including current President Warwick McEwan were presented to the function, and the Club’s 1^st Vice President, Rex Carter and the Clubs 1st Female President (attending) Thelma Griffiths cut the anniversary cake.
