Officer-in-charge, Colonel Daniel Masur of the US Marine Corps paid a visit to the Probus Club of Charles Darwin a couple months ago and talked about his fascinating life in the navy.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland he is a much decorated marine who is a 30 year veteran, having seen active duty in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
