A helping hand

The Lockleys Combined Probus Club enjoyed a fascinating presentation by speaker Janis Lindblom, who founded a charity organisation called Cambodian Cocoon, which aims to raise funds to help children and families living in poverty.

Cambodian Cocoon has helped to fund clean water wells in villages since 2010 and has drilled and installed 135 others since then.

The club members were so moved by Janis’ story that they contributed enough money to fund a well, which will provide clean water to those in the village.
