Much-loved, long-term Probus member at the Probus Club of Port Stephens Leon Lindsay was recently presented with his Life Membership Medal by President George Hammond.
A magnificent 109 members and guests attended the event to celebrate Leon’s achievement.
Leon has been a member for nearly 26 years and has worked tirelessly for the club in some capacity for most of that time. He also has the happy knack of convincing other people to take on jobs as well, somehow without even asking!
He and his lovely wife, Cathy, are enthusiastic members who personify fun, fellowship and friendship within the club.
This presentation was a complete surprise to Leon and his emotional response brought on a few tears from his adoring fans! You are a rock star, Leon.
