February 2016 was a significant month for Redlands Ladies Probus Club in Brisbane’s Bayside when they celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Probus and their own Club’s 27th birthday with a 1970s day.
The ladies scoured their wardrobes for clothes from the 70's and minis and maxis were in abundance. Members' recollections and stories from the 1970's replaced the normal guest speaker for the day and a special Birthday Cake and 70s themed morning tea helped to make it a memorable occasion.
Celebrations for the 65 members continued the following week at a special luncheon held at Mt Coot-tha Summit restaurant overlooking the city of Brisbane.
