Sausage Sizzle at Crosslands Reserve

Perfect weather, beautiful location, great company, and a great BBQ describe the Friday 6 March sausage sizzle at Crosslands Reserve.
Crosslands has fond memories for a number of members with cold and wet Easter scout camps bush walks and various other activities and seems to have remained a mostly undiscovered retreat right on our doorstep.
Members Barb and John arrived early at Crosslands to select a suitably shaded site with adjacent BBQ followed later by 30+ picnickers. Members John L, John O’Brien, Rob, and Peter took care of the cooking, providing members with first course (small sausage) and mains (large sausage) and Members Barb, Lorraine and Marcia assisted by distributing cake, tidying and cleaning up.
And let’s hope that Crosslands Reserve remains the way it is.
