Twenty-six Corowa Wahgunyah Probus members enjoyed a leisurely drive past lush pastures and canola farms carpeted in yellow on their way to the Dederang Hotel for lunch.
The hotel, purchased by comedian Shane Jacobson, was the subject of the reality series Oops I Bought a Pub. Located seemingly in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Kiewa Valley, the once run-down hotel has been transformed into a magnificent venue, combining a completely restored original pub with a new, modern and bright annex.
Members enjoyed friendly and efficient service, with tasty, generous and reasonably priced meals.
