Mayor Kirsten Langford, Mayor of the City of Whitehorse in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, recently hosted a function for Presidents and Secretaries of the thirteen Probus Clubs in the city.
Michael Ransom, Chair of Probus South Pacific Limited, is a resident of the City of Whitehorse and spoke at the function, thanked the mayor and emphasised that local Councils and Probus Clubs have much in common in helping older people remain active and engaged in their local communities.
