Baldivis Probus Club celebrates 1st Birthday

A Birthday – Open Day was held on Wednesday 12th October to celebrate our 1st Birthday. 89 attendees enjoyed a day of Friendship, Fellowship and Fun at the Peel Estate Winery.
As well as most of our club members, we were joined by guests and visitors from PAWA, Shoalwater Ladies Probus Club, Rockingham Combined Probus Club, Mandurah Island Probus Club, U3A, MALA, and Matt Whitfield Rockingham City Councillor.
The morning started with meet & greet and morning tea/coffee this was followed by “The Islanders” a singing group from the Mandurah Island Club who were in fine voice in such beautiful surroundings.
A tour/talk of the Winery was given by owner Will Nairn and everyone had a chance to taste the wine. Lunch was BYO or a Sausage Sizzle which proved to be very popular as you can see by the queue.
After lunch the cake was cut and everyone enjoyed the chance to mix and mingle and again be entertained by The Islanders.
A day of Friendship, Fellowship and Fun made more so by a beautiful sunny day.
